SMS Terms and Conditions
Capital Area Community Health Connect (CACHC)
Terms and Conditions
When you sign up for SMS (text) messages from Capital Area Community Health Connect, you are signing up to receive text messages related to your relationship with Unity Health Care Inc., Whitman-Walker, and partners and affiliates, including updates related to your visits, MyChart account, one-time passcode, billing notifications, prescription reminders, and care management.
You will receive text messages from a five-digit number. That is called a “short code.” You can opt-out of text messages by texting STOP within the text message that you receive. Your opt-out request will generate one final message confirming that you have been unsubscribed from that short code. You do not have to do anything else – you will no longer receive text messages from the short code you opted out from. This only opts you out of receiving text messages from this short code and not other phone numbers from our organization.
If you want to join again, sign up using MyChart or text HELP to the short code for instructions.
If you are experiencing issues with the text messaging program you can reply with the keyword HELP for more assistance, or you can get help directly at 202-469-4699.
Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.Message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. Message frequency may vary.
