Program Size
Four inaugural behavioral health fellows. Each year the program will accept two fellows.
Program Highlights
- You will be a part of a two-year Behavioral Health fellowship cohort, which is generously supported by a grant from the J. Willard and Alice S. Marriott Foundation.
- Designed to offer Licensed Graduate Social Workers (LGSWs) clinical experience providing integrated behavioral health services to the communities we serve.
- Receive clinical didactics, professional development (mentorship), full-time employment and direct experience with our patient population.
- Receive formal supervision necessary to obtain independent licensure at the fellowship’s completion!
- Eligible for loan repayment at the end of the fellowship program
- Commit to providing behavioral health services and positively impacting greater Washington, DC area communities for two years post fellowship!

About the Program
The Post-Graduate Behavioral Health Fellowship at Unity Health Care offers a unique opportunity to extend your clinical Social Work experience with hands-on training supporting the behavioral health needs of adults, children, adolescents, families, and more through the largest Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in the Nation’s Capital. This fellowship is generously supported by a grant from the J. Willard and Alice S. Marriott Foundation.
