Osteopathic Recognition

The American Osteopathic Association accredited our program before transitioning to the Single Accreditation under the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME). To continue providing Osteopathic Education to our residents, our program received Osteopathic Recognition from ACGME.

At the DC training location, we have a weekly OMT clinic to provide quality osteopathic manipulative treatment to our patients who are very vulnerable. Residents also incorporate osteopathic principles and practices including OMT into their continuity clinic, focusing on finding health rather than just treating disease.

Through monthly OMT didactic sessions, residents continue to learn hands-on OMT techniques and how to incorporate osteopathic principles into their daily patient care.
