About the Interim CEO

Beginning in early May 2025, Tracy D. Harrison, MJ, became Unity Health Care’s Interim President and CEO. She agreed to serve in this role while Unity’s Board of Directors focuses on recruiting a permanent replacement.

Tracy Harrison has extensive experience with Unity, recently celebrating over 20 years of service to the organization. In 2022, she was promoted to Chief Operating Officer, where she oversaw operations across Unity’s extensive network of sites and sat on the executive leadership team. Prior to serving as Chief Operating Officer, Tracy served in various other critical roles at Unity, including as Vice President for Clinical Administration and Vice President for Business Development, Innovation, and Population Health. Tracy started her time with Unity as a Health Center Director at Unity’s Congress Heights location.

Tracy cares deeply for Unity’s patients and is committed to providing them with the access to healthcare they deserve. In addition to her work with Unity, Tracy supports philanthropic and community efforts as President of the Xi Zeta Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from Hampton University of Virginia and a Master of Jurisprudence from Loyola Chicago School of Law. She also completed a Certificate in Leadership Strategies from the Harvard School of Public Health.
